Collision Center Shop Support

The Collision Center Porter plays a key role in the daily operations of our collision center. This position supports technicians, managers, and staff while ensuring vehicles and the facility are organized, clean, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport customers to and from desired locations
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to customers and sublet vendors
• Move vehicles between intake, production, and storage areas
• Receive incoming parts and distribute them to the appropriate technician or job
• Assist in moving vehicles in and out of the shop to support production flow
• Maintain cleanliness of production and paint areas (sweeping, trash removal, etc.)
• Help maintain office spaces, storage areas, and exterior grounds
• Pre-wash vehicles prior to repair
• Post-wash vehicles prior to customer delivery
• Tag and store warranty parts properly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1–2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Valid driver’s license (must be insurable)
• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude

Physical Demands

• Regular standing and walking
• Frequent use of hands, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
• Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Good vision, including depth perception and focus adjustment
